Prioritize Longevity
We use our expertise and resources to help build longevity in your equine athlete.
What is Coulee
Equine
Coulee Equine is Western Canada’s premier facility for equine conditioning, rehabilitation and wellness.
Getting its name from the beautiful coulee that it overlooks, we have been thriving in picturesque central Alberta since 2013. Experience really is one of our greatest assets. With research projects and conditioning on the water treadmill, we have extensive knowledge in how to accomplish your unique goals.
Every horse that walks in our barn receives the same high level standard of care.
Conditioning
In our minds, conditioning is consistently improving your horse’s fitness level. Using low concussion, high resistance water treadmill training and indoor equiciser, we are able to do this in a refreshing, yet controlled environment.
Wellness
To us, wellness is helping horses to feel their absolute best by hitting on most of the pillars of health. This means giving them a mental and physical break from the stresses of showing and competing.
Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation is for horses in recovery. Our rehabilitation programs cover everything from post surgery, wound care, abscesses, soft tissue injuries and much more.

However custom packages are on a case by case basis depending on your needs and budgetary requirements.
We encourage you to contact us to have an accurate quote formulated, based on you and your horse’s needs.
Beyond Conditioning
There is more to Coulee than just the conditioning aspect. When you use the water treadmill you are increasing the longevity of your equine athlete. The horses come out stronger and more balanced as they have to use all parts of their bodies equally. At the same time, we are not a facility that is just for spring time, we pride ourselves on helping horses feel great all year round. Even if you have a couple days off in between shows there is something we can do to help your horse feel good and fresh.
